

Vocational Development Programme Hours
First Year:
1:00pm to 3:00pm - Academic Classes 1:00pm to 4:00pm - Skills Areas The Programme: Academic ClassesStudents will be assigned to teachers in the Vocational Development classes for Maths, English, CSPE, and Irish Culture. They will follow the Junior Certificate curriculum in these subjects. FETACEach student will complete modules from the following list-

The Programme: Skills AreasSkills Areas Induction Period (1st Year students only) Students will sample all skill areas on a rotational basis; Horticulture, Catering, Office and Retail Skills, Car Valeting, General Skills, Social Skills and Personal Development. Following successful completion of Induction, 1st year students will be assigned a specific skill area for each of the following 3 school terms. 2nd Year students will be assigned a specific skill area for the duration of their final year. Dress CodeStudents do not wear a uniform but are required to dress presentably and adhere to Saint Augustine's dress code.
